Friends Grow Philly Foundation provides free plants and seedlings to Philadelphia residents and community partners from March through August.
Choose a monthly distribution, select vegetables and fruit or ornamentals and flowers, and request up to 20 plants—subject to availability.

HOW IT WORKS
Requesting Plants Is Simple.
Choose your distribution month, tell us what you'd like to grow, and select pickup or qualifying delivery. All plants are provided free of charge and are subject to availability.

Friends Grow Philly Foundation provides plants and seedlings at no cost to help Philadelphia residents grow food, flowers, and healthier neighborhoods. To help us serve as many households as possible, please follow these guidelines.

20 PLANTS MAXIMUM PER HOUSEHOLD
Each household may request up to 20 plants during each monthly distribution period. Plant quantities are subject to availability.

ONE REQUEST PER HOUSEHOLD PER DISTRIBUTION MONTH
To help us serve as many families as possible, each household may submit one request for each monthly distribution. Duplicate requests may be combined or canceled.

DELIVERY REQUIRES A 20-PLANT REQUEST
Delivery is available only for qualifying local requests totaling 20 plants. Requests for fewer than 20 plants must be picked up.

HELP US KEEP THE PROGRAM FAIR
To protect fair access for everyone, FGP may review requests using household information such as name, address, email, and phone number. Duplicate or inaccurate requests may be combined, adjusted, or canceled.
Please request only what your household can reasonably plant and care for.
